This winter we are reading through the letter to the Hebrews. After our reading of the prophet Amos in the fall, this New Testament epistle provides a link back to the prophecies of the Old Testament whilst looking forward to their fulfillment in Christ.

This fall we are reading through the book of Amos, an old Testament prophet who criticized the people of God for their injustice and exploitation of the poor and marginalized, famously exhorting them to:
“Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (5:24)
